Managing Partner of Edelweiss M&A Partners (formerly JPh Hottinguer Corporate Finance), Alec has led numerous mandates in various service sectors, including the sales of Virtua, Brolliet, Groupe MK (Domicim), Solvalor and ITX, as well as the acquisition of the 3R Group - Réseau Radiologique Romand.

Alec was previously a partner at Deloitte, responsible for the Corporate Finance department for French-speaking Switzerland, a firm he joined from PwC. In this capacity, he led numerous sale and acquisition transactions in the industrial and healthcare sectors, including electronic components, automotive suppliers, machine tools, medical technologies, private clinics, as well as logistics, real estate and personal services.

Until 2002, Alec was in charge of global strategic planning at Sulzer Medica in Houston, as Director of Planning and Technology and Assistant to the CEO. In this respect, Alec has led numerous acquisitions of medtech companies, investments in biomedical start-ups and licensing agreements.

A physics engineer at EPFL, Alec started in 1989 at Sulzer Innotec in Winterthur where he carried out various R&D mandates for the Sulzer group and third-party clients. Since 1995, he has been leading pacemaker projects at Intermedics in Texas. In 1998, he joined the Sulzer Medica Group Executive Committee after obtaining an Executive MBA with honors.
